In terms of the edict from the Rebbe - tonight's 'band' had 20 strings, 4 singers, and 19 or 20 non-string musicians.Clearly, the takanos have been a smashing success.
Incidentally, Blog in Dm's Satmar correspondent is reporting that new and more draconian takanos are rumored to be coming down the pike in that community.
