The essay concludes:
Not surprisingly, the best band of the night did not win the right to open at Yeshiva’s annual Hanukkah Concert. Surprisingly, the worst band of the night did. This could be the case for a variety of reasons. Perhaps Emes took home the title because as one observer stated, “they looked most like the judges.” Or perhaps The Jason Caplan Quartet went home without the victory because in all honesty, can anyone see them opening for Yeedle? Or is it Schweky? Thanks, E!
